About the role

The Patient Safety Program Manager leads the development and maintenance of systems that predict, detect, prevent, and manage patient adverse events, working closely with senior leadership, legal, quality, and advocacy teams.

Key responsibilities

Promote patient safety through training, implementation, and improvements using proven methods.
Ensure patient safety occurrence reporting, trend analysis, and facilitate prevention initiatives.
Lead root‑cause and failure mode analyses of serious safety events and disseminate lessons learned.
Collaborate with leadership, legal, quality, and advocacy teams to develop policies and respond to sentinel events.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum two years recent clinical experience; risk management or quality management experience preferred.
CPHRM certification required within 18 months of hire.
