About the role

The H60 Neurosciences unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus provides care for complex neurological patients, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain and spine tumors, and other disorders. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm–7:30 am) supports RN staff in delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist patients with vital signs, weight, personal care, and activities of daily living.
  • Perform patient transfers, transport, pulse oximetry, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and apply/remove external monitoring devices.
  • Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to the supervising RN.
  • Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
  • Military medical experience (Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician) considered.
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred.

Required skills

  • Pulse oximetry monitoring.
  • Point‑of‑care testing.
  • Dressing change techniques.
  • Application of external monitoring devices.
