Part‑Time Server – Downtown/Midtown Atlanta

About the role

The Restaurant Server greets guests, takes orders, serves food and beverages, and ensures guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience at the downtown/midtown Atlanta location.

Key responsibilities

• Present menus, answer questions, suggest items, and explain daily specials.
• Relay orders to the kitchen, serve courses promptly, and time service to match guests' pace.
• Perform check‑backs, handle guest requests, compute bills, and process payments.
• Clear and reset tables after each course and at the end of service.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side‑work and assist co‑workers as needed.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints, following “Make it Right” guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow hotel safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred and at least one year of hotel food‑service experience.
• Legal age to serve alcohol, TABC certified, and hold a Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for an entire shift, and handle banquet trays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of full‑service, table‑side service standards.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on tasks.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
