Part‑time Remote HR Generalist

About the role

Hampr is looking for a part‑time Remote HR Generalist to keep its people operations running smoothly. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will manage onboarding, paperwork, employee records, benefits coordination, and recruiting logistics, allowing the team to stay focused on rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Process new‑hire paperwork, including offer letters, background checks, I‑9 verification, and payroll setup.
• Execute onboarding checklists: send welcome emails, schedule first‑day meetings, and coordinate equipment and system access.
• Conduct candidate phone screens, maintain the ATS with accurate status updates, and keep the recruiting pipeline current.
• Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and coordinate interview logistics.
• Enter and update employee data in HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
• Collect and organize benefits enrollment forms and life‑event changes.
• Maintain and update HR documentation, checklists, and templates.
• Support recurring HR tasks such as compliance training reminders, anniversary recognitions, and basic reporting.
• Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief People Officer.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or people operations.
• Experience with at least one HRIS, payroll, and ATS platform.
• Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy with confidential information.
• Highly organized self‑starter able to manage checklists, deadlines, and follow‑ups independently in a remote environment.
• Personal accountability with proactive communication of blockers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic employment compliance areas (I‑9, background checks).
