About the role
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Northeastern University seeks part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses on campus or online asynchronously.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures for courses such as Introduction to Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Drugs and Society, and many others.
- Develop assignments, grade student work, and hold office hours.
- Teach throughout the year based on enrollment and departmental needs.
Required profile
- M.A. required; Ph.D. or ABD preferred.
- Experience teaching large and diverse groups of students.
- Ability to maintain valid U.S. work authorization without university visa sponsorship.
