About the role
The Department of Physical Therapy, Movement, and Rehabilitation Sciences at Northeastern University seeks part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Lecturers will develop and deliver lecture, recitation, and laboratory experiences while supporting student learning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and administer lecture, recitation, and laboratory sessions.
- Prepare course materials, examinations, and evaluate student performance.
- Hold weekly office hours (2‑3 hours) for group and individual tutoring.
- Collaborate with the Lead Faculty and report to the Associate Department Chair.
Required profile
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Active Massachusetts physical therapy license by start date.
- Work experience in a large, diverse higher‑education institution or as a clinical instructor.
- APTA Clinical Specialist Certification is preferred.
