Part‑time Administrative Assistant

About the role

Skogman Remodeling & Repair, a locally owned full‑service remodeling company, is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Part‑Time Administrative Assistant to keep the office running smoothly. The role involves a mix of invoicing, reporting, sales support, scheduling, and customer communications.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and schedule new job leads, respond to inquiries, proof and send estimates, and assist with weekly sales and follow‑up reports.
• Schedule subcontractor meetings, prepare job packets, and organize project photos.
• Process invoices and payments, maintain accurate records, and send client past‑due notices.
• Track vendor Certificates of Insurance, process manufacturer rebates, manage mail, office supplies, client gifts, employee birthdays/anniversaries, and incentive gift cards.
• Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Highly organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through.
• Comfortable learning new systems and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Team player with a positive attitude who can also work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional errands; ability to lift up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Docs, Sheets, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
