About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking qualified candidates to teach Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE)/GED preparation classes. This part‑time, grant‑funded position involves flexible scheduling across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

Instruct students and develop program syllabi, goals, and objectives.
Evaluate student progress and ensure learning outcomes are recorded.
Maintain program certification requirements and prepare required documentation.
Attend staff development training, workshops, and conferences to stay current in the field.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in a core subject (Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, or Social Studies).
At least one year of full‑time (or equivalent) paid teaching experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
