Parts Counter Salesperson

About the role

The Parts Counter Sales Associate assists customers in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts, processes orders, manages inventory, and delivers excellent customer service while promoting sales and specials.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately, ensuring correct pricing, payment, and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock, and report discrepancies.
• Promote parts sales and specials, upsell related products, and handle returns and exchanges.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, welcome customers, and assist them in identifying the right parts using catalogs and computer systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license meeting insurance standards.
• Familiarity with automotive parts, their functions, and fit across vehicle models.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of automotive parts.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
