Part-Time Staff RN – Postpartum (12‑hour days)

About the role

This part‑time, 12‑hour day position supports the Post‑Partum unit (Tower 1) at Keck Medicine of USC. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with the unit manager and director, and ensures high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable to the unit manager/director and adhere to nursing standards of practice.
• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks to LVNs, CNAs, nursing students, and logistics technicians as appropriate.
• Maintain IV therapy competency and medication administration proficiency.
• Participate in the organization‑wide Performance Improvement Program and uphold IRAISE values.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in California.
• Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in acute care and preferably in the assigned postpartum area.
