Part-Time Social Media Content Specialist

About the role

Greystar is seeking a part‑time Social Media Content Specialist to create and publish engaging visual content for its property locations. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing team and on‑site staff to boost brand awareness and tenant engagement across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to assigned properties, capture high‑quality photo and video content, and act as the primary on‑site shooter for organic social channels.
• Plan and execute shoots using shot lists, coordinate with property staff, and manage logistics to maximize output.
• Shoot, edit, and produce short‑form videos optimized for Reels and TikTok, applying current trends, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Upload finished assets to the appropriate technology platforms and track hours and mileage per company policy.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or a related field.
• Portfolio of short‑form video work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere or similar.
• Experience operating cameras, gimbals, tripods and other stabilization equipment.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook platform trends.

• Hourly pay ranging from $31.00 to $40.00.
