Part-Time Remote Behavioral Health Assessment Clinician (CA Licensed)

About the role

Clarity Pediatrics seeks a licensed Behavioral Health Assessment Clinician to join its remote, multidisciplinary team. The clinician will focus on comprehensive intake evaluations for children and adolescents, primarily addressing ADHD and anxiety, and will guide families toward appropriate next steps in care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full behavioral health assessments and intake interviews for pediatric patients and their caregivers.
• Gather developmental, psychiatric, medical, school, and psychosocial histories to inform clinical formulation.
• Evaluate symptom severity, functional impairment, diagnostic criteria, and differential diagnoses.
• Integrate interview data, standardized measures, collateral information, and records into clear clinical formulations.
• Identify safety concerns, complete risk assessments, and develop safety plans when needed.
• Provide families with evidence‑based treatment recommendations, referrals, and clear next‑step guidance.

Required profile

• Active California licensure as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or psychologist (PhD/PsyD).
• Experience assessing children and adolescents, especially for ADHD and/or anxiety.
• Strong foundation in diagnostic assessment, clinical formulation, and treatment planning.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate findings compassionately.
• Proficiency with standardized behavioral health screening and assessment tools.
• Willingness to work within a structured, evidence‑based assessment model while exercising independent clinical judgment.
