Part-Time & Per Diem LPN (All Shifts Available)

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a part-time and per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at its Brandywine Living facility in Mahwah, New Jersey. All shifts are available, and the hourly rate is $34.26-$35.26. The role involves monitoring the health, safety and well-being of residents and supervising care staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety and well-being of all residents
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Supervise care staff in line with state regulations and community policies
• Maintain clinical quality assurance according to federal, state and local standards
• Promote high-quality service to residents while demonstrating the company's mission
• Conduct thorough resident assessments

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work with residents who have Alzheimer's or other related dementias
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and intermittent lifting and supporting of residents

Required skills

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
