Caregiver (HHA/CNA) - Assisted Living

About the role

Brandywine Living at Mahwah, an assisted living community operated by Monarch Communities, is hiring a Caregiver (HHA/CNA) for full-time, part-time and per diem shifts. The location is Mahwah, NJ, and the hourly rate is $20.31-$21.31. Open shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Watch for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plan
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of resident care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Able to speak, read and write in English
• Experience working with the elderly population preferred; dementia experience preferred
