Part-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Longevity Medicine

About the role

Alpha Hormones, a Pasadena-based clinic offering hormone therapy, metabolic health and longevity care, is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). The role is two days per week: in-person clinic hours on Fridays at the Pasadena location (commute required) and remote/telehealth work on Mondays from 9am to 6pm. There is potential to expand to a full-time role as the patient panel grows and based on performance. This is a W-2 position; candidates wanting a 1099 should not apply.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive new patient consultations focused on hormone therapy, weight optimization, peptide therapy and wellness treatments.
• Manage ongoing follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress and adjust protocols as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle optimization and integrative approaches.
• Interpret lab results and incorporate findings into personalized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants and virtual care teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Document visits accurately in the EMR and maintain clinical compliance.
• Keep up to date on hormone therapy, peptides, metabolic health and longevity treatments through continuing education.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license and DEA registration in California; additional licensure in states such as Florida and Texas is a plus.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in primary care, functional medicine, integrative medicine, endocrinology, weight management, med spa or aesthetic medicine.
• Experience and/or strong interest in hormone therapy (TRT / BHRT), peptide therapy, weight loss treatments and wellness medicine preferred; med spa or aesthetic medicine experience desired.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication and patient education skills, able to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Required skills

• Comfortable using EMR systems and other technologies.
• Continuing education and training commitment.
