Part-Time Music Teacher (Voice, Piano or Guitar)

About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced, professional music instructor to teach part-time with its Wellesley, MA school, At Your Door Music. Lessons are one-on-one, 60 minutes long, held in person at students' homes in the Newton, Wellesley, Weston area and surrounding towns. Teachers can choose their availability within the school's open hours, though consistency is valued and candidates with greater availability are preferred.

Required profile

• Strong music background, shown by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Reliable mode of transportation, since instructors travel to family residences.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality and the ability to pass a routine background check.
