Part-Time MRI Technologist

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a part-time MRI Technologist. The technologist performs all MRI and MRA procedures and produces high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all MRI/MRA procedures: abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, breast and extremities
• Use knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to deliver quality images
• Apply advanced computer applications, including PACS and image manipulation for image enhancement
• Adjust MRI parameters to each patient's needs and support continuous quality improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited MRI program
• ARRT (R), (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• 2 years' experience performing MRI/MRA preferred
• Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVI post-processing preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying up to 50 lbs
