About the role
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Miami is creating a pool of qualified part‑time lecturers to teach up to two undergraduate courses each semester, primarily at the introductory level.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate mathematics courses, focusing on introductory topics.
- Maintain regular office hours to support student learning.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Participate in departmental meetings as needed.
Required profile
- Master's degree in mathematical sciences or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
