About the role
Chamberlain University seeks experienced industry professionals to teach Anatomy & Physiology on a course‑by‑course basis. Classes meet once or twice a week for eight weeks and combine face‑to‑face interaction with online components.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an approved Covista syllabus that aligns with campus templates and terminal course objectives.
- Organize, prepare, and regularly update all course materials, incorporating appropriate online technologies and software.
- Model effective oral and written communication, set clear expectations, and publish assignment and exam schedules.
- Ensure exam content matches course objectives, grade fairly, and provide timely feedback.
- Comply with all institutional policies and standards, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 18 graduate hours in the subject for undergraduate teaching.
- Subject‑matter expertise, outstanding communication skills, and strong motivational and instructional abilities.
- Ability to work collegially in a diverse, non‑traditional environment and facilitate group efforts.
- Any additional state licensing or accreditation requirements as applicable.
