About the role
The University of Miami seeks a part‑time Lecturer for the School of Nursing and Health Studies. This faculty‑intermittent position involves delivering clinical and classroom instruction, advising students, and contributing to the academic mission of the school.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate lectures, tutorials, and clinical sessions as coordinated with the Dean.
- Maintain accurate teaching records and develop instructional materials.
- Advise and assess student performance, providing feedback and guidance.
- Maintain professional licensure and an up‑to‑date portfolio demonstrating fitness for practice.
- Develop and sustain relationships with clinical sites to secure quality practicum opportunities for students.
- Oversee practical/clinical work and instruct students on relevant techniques.
Required profile
- Master's or Ph.D. in Nursing or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach both classroom and clinical content.
- Commitment to diversity, integrity, and excellence in education.
