About the role
The Department of Business Law at the Miami Herbert Business School seeks part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate and graduate business law courses. Lecturers will primarily deliver in‑person instruction and may cover topics in business law and ethics.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, in‑person lectures and seminars for business law courses.
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and participation.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Required profile
- Terminal degree in Law (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Professional or academic experience in business law and ethics.
- Ability to teach primarily in‑person.
