About the role
The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami is seeking a part‑time lecturer to teach graduate‑level courses. The role involves delivering lectures, supervising laboratory work, leading discussion sections and providing tutorial support to advanced students.
Key responsibilities
- Teach graduate courses in marine and atmospheric science, including lectures and labs.
- Develop and lead discussion sections and tutorial sessions.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in a relevant marine science discipline from an APA‑accredited program.
- Prior experience teaching at the graduate level is preferred.
- Ability to submit official transcripts for the terminal degree.
