About the role
The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami is seeking a part‑time lecturer to join its Choral Studies program within the Vocal Performance Department. The role focuses on delivering graduate‑level instruction and supporting ensemble activities.
Key responsibilities
- Teach graduate applied lessons in Choral Conducting and Choral Literature I & II.
- Assist with the Frost Chamber Singers and the graduate recital choir.
- Provide undergraduate and additional graduate courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Choral Conducting or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Prior collegiate teaching experience and a record of exceptional teaching.
