About the role
We are seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to join the Criminal Justice Technology program at Savannah Technical College. The instructor will deliver engaging lectures and labs to students pursuing careers in criminal justice.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course material in face-to-face and hybrid formats.
- Align instruction with program standards and student learning outcomes.
- Assess and record student progress toward academic goals.
- Maintain required documentation and administrative reports.
- Stay current with criminal justice procedures and best practices.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in criminal justice or related field (or master’s with ≥18 graduate semester hours in qualifying areas).
- At least three years of law‑enforcement experience within the past five years.
- Willingness to teach at multiple campus locations as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Blackboard learning management system.
- Experience using Banner administrative platform.
