About the role

The Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General Liz Murrill, is seeking a Paralegal (Level 1-3) to join its Litigation Division in Alexandria, Louisiana. Key responsibilities

• Provide legal research and writing support for litigation matters.
• Assist with the preparation and management of legal documents and terminology.
• Travel statewide as needed, using a personal motor vehicle.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience where paralegal work was a major duty.
• Completion of a paralegal‑related curriculum, a bachelor’s degree, or a Juris Doctorate.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
