Pain Management Physician – Trigger Point Injections

About the role

Our multispecialty clinic network in Brooklyn, Queens, and Northern New Jersey is seeking a full‑time Pain Management Physician. You will focus on trigger point injections and comprehensive musculoskeletal care, working Monday‑Friday with opportunities for clinical growth and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Independently perform trigger point injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, shoulder).
• Conduct full patient evaluations, review imaging, and diagnose musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain.
• Develop evidence‑based pain management plans, including procedural and non‑procedural interventions.
• Provide follow‑up care, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans.
• Document procedures, notes, and billing information accurately in the EHR.
• Collaborate with PT/OT, chiropractors, PAs/NPs, and other specialists.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures, after‑care, and lifestyle modifications.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, Family Medicine, or related specialty; pain‑focused training preferred.
• Active NY and/or NJ medical license (multi‑state preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, or related field.
• Demonstrated competency in performing trigger point injections independently.
• Strong EHR documentation and workflow skills.
