Packaging Design Engineer

About the role

Lovevery’s Packaging Design & Engineering team is looking for a Packaging Design Engineer to develop structural packaging for its direct‑to‑consumer, retained, and retail programs. This remote position supports the first physical experience customers have with the brand’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop primary, secondary and tertiary packaging solutions for e‑commerce and retail, meeting safety, regulatory, sustainability and performance standards.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of packaging specifications using ArtiosCAD, TOPS, SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator.
• Prepare technical drawings, specification sheets, bills‑of‑material, pallet patterns and other documentation for manufacturing.
• Evaluate existing and new packaging designs to improve user experience, sustainability, quality and cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, packaging engineering or a related field.
• Experience creating market‑ready packaging and providing input on product profitability and freight costs.
• Expert knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and sustainable design practices.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
