Overnight Team Member - Stocking

About the role

Meijer is hiring an Overnight Team Member in Franklin. The role takes stock from either an l-cart or a pallet, uses the location codes on each box to place the items in the correct spot on the shelf, and repeats this until the assigned area is finished. Night shifts are required.

Key responsibilities

• Stock food shelves with a variety of products.
• Pull back stock and trash to the back room and put it in the correct areas.
• Work with management to make sure the right areas are stocked on time.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers.
• Work night shifts.

Required profile

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfort using them.
• Process-driven, able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment and to work consistently with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes and to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of how to operate a forklift and pallet jack is a plus.
