Overnight Staff Pharmacist – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking an Overnight Staff Pharmacist to join Amazon Pharmacy’s night shift team. The pharmacist will be responsible for end‑to‑end prescription fulfillment during a 10‑hour night shift, ensuring customers receive their medications safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense, verify and pack medication orders for shipment, including both packet and bulk dispenses.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on all produced medication sets before shift end.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in PharmacyOS and manage prescription transfers and new acquisitions.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as processing returns, medication rejects, substitutions and canister approvals.
• Answer clinical questions, provide guidance and investigate any dispensing errors.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Experience in long‑term care (LTC) or retail pharmacy settings preferred.
• Ability to work a 10‑hour night shift schedule, subject to availability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PharmacyOS or similar pharmacy management systems.
• Knowledge of medication verification and documentation processes.
