Overnight ER / ICU Veterinary Technician

About the role

Fetch Veterinary is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician to join its team in Greenville. You will provide critical care and support to hospitalized patients in a fast-paced environment, making a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to patients in the ICU
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment
• Perform diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests
• Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
• Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners during difficult times

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a veterinary technician in an emergency or ICU setting
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Strong knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused under stress
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
