Overnight Custodian (Tuesday‑Saturday)

About the role

The Full‑Time Overnight Custodian works Tuesday‑Saturday nights to keep Central Church clean, safe, and welcoming. You will maintain restrooms, common areas, and event spaces, supporting ministry activities with attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, classrooms, and common areas; sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces daily.
• Set up and tear down chairs, tables, staging, and equipment for meetings and events; reset rooms after use.
• Monitor the building for safety hazards, restock supplies, operate floor scrubbers and vacuums, and assist with light maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; able to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 lb, stand and walk for long periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Operation of floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety practices.
