Outpatient Physical Therapist – Full Time (Morgan City)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist to join its team in Morgan City. The role involves autonomous delivery of physical therapy treatment, evaluating patients, developing and monitoring treatment plans, and ensuring high‑quality patient care. You will contribute to program development and help meet community health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and create individualized treatment programs.
• Assess patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with documentation standards.
• Achieve productivity targets related to access to care, patient experience, and quality metrics.
• Assist in developing and enhancing programs to serve patient and community needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment, decision‑making, and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating schedules based on patient demand.
