Orthodontist – Part-Time Position

About the role

Children's Dental FunZone in Rialto is seeking a part‑time Orthodontist to deliver fun, effective orthodontic care for pediatric patients. You will work two days each month, providing assessments, treatment plans, and consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthodontic assessments for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans.
• Provide orthodontic consultations to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric orthodontics through ongoing education.

Required profile

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree with an active California Dental Board license.
• Further studies in orthodontics accredited by the American Dental Association and membership in the American Association of Orthodontists.
• Experience treating children and adults with a strong background in orthodontics.

Required skills

• Orthodontic assessments and customized treatment planning.
• Use of hand tools such as periodontal scalers, band pluggers, cutters, and pliers.
• Operation of diagnostic tools including digital X‑rays and 3D imaging.
• Knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances.
