Orthodontic Assistant – Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant (or RDA) with orthodontic experience to join our fast‑growing pediatric dental practice. This part‑time position offers a fun environment where every day brings a new experience working with children.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays for procedures.
• Maintain and test equipment such as sterilizers and x‑ray units.
• Pour models, perform lab procedures, and document exam findings in patient records.
• Keep operatory and laboratory clean, orderly, and well‑stocked.
• Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to develop community preventive dental activities.

Required profile

• Must love working with children.
• Valid OA/RDA license issued by the Dental Board.
• Upbeat personality and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments.
