About the role

The Department of Talent & Organizational Development at the University of Miami is seeking a full‑time Organizational Development Specialist 2. This position will design, deliver, and evaluate learning and development initiatives that support the university’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and subject‑matter experts to create learning opportunities aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Determine appropriate OD interventions such as leadership coaching, team‑building, e‑learning, and simulations.
• Develop and analyze assessment tools to identify learning needs and measure impact.
• Facilitate leadership workshops, team‑building activities, and business conversations for varied group sizes.
• Design and implement change management and organizational alignment initiatives.
• Diagnose organizational issues, provide recommendations, and consult with leadership.
• Coach managers, executives, and teams on OD initiatives.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to develop targeted learning solutions.
• Create training manuals, multimedia aids, and other educational materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational development or related HR functions.
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative mindset.
• Technical proficiency with office software.
