Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant to lead the configuration and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials tax functionality. The role will work remotely with our Dallas‑based team, partnering with finance, tax and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Tax, including tax rules, rates, jurisdictions and tax recovery.
• Integrate and troubleshoot Vertex or OneSource tax engines with Oracle Fusion.
• Support indirect tax processes such as VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax and Withholding Tax.
• Assist procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Management and intercompany tax processes.
• Develop and validate tax‑related reports using SQL and Oracle reporting tools.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and technical teams during implementations, testing, deployments and production support.
• Ensure compliance with global tax regulations and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle ERP/Fusion Financials and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax.
• Experience integrating tax engines such as Vertex or OneSource.
• Strong knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT, GST, Sales & Use, Withholding).
