Oracle Application DBA (Remote)

About the role

CACI is hiring an Oracle Application DBA to join an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 project team supporting a high-profile Department of War multi-agency program. The role covers the management and maintenance of several Oracle RDBMS instances in a shared-service solution, with flexibility to add more instances as capacity planning and new government requirements evolve. It is a regular, full-time position with no travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain production uptime, including backups, restores, recovery, refresh, performance tuning and security
• Plan and respond to service outages, and monitor system performance and diagnose software and hardware failures
• Provide patch management and distribution, and create and test data backups
• Perform data cleansing, verify data integrity and implement access controls
• Configure, monitor and tune the database, including space, storage, object and rollback segment management
• Manage logs, alerts, access rights, roles, authorizations, audits and instance version control
• Monitor memory usage, I/O distribution and database parameters, and support upgrades, testing, fielding and systems sustainment
• Support software development, migration and integration, and contribute to security analysis work plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with five years of related experience including large-scale Oracle ERP support
• U.S. citizen able to obtain an IT-I background investigation
• Nice to have: prior Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting Federal or DoD customers

Required skills

• Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2 and 12c database installation and support
• WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c
• OCI, including migration support
• Cloud service provider (CSP) implementation and database upgrades
• Single sign-on architecture (SOA, OBIEE) with tools such as OAM/OID
• DoD security standards (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, db links) and security monitoring (IAVA, STIGs)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (OCA WebLogic 11g SA, OCI Foundations 2020, Security+ CE)
