Operator II - 3rd Shift

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company, is hiring an Operator II for its 3rd shift in Cary. The role is onsite and involves operating and supporting manufacturing equipment, completing production documentation and helping maintain quality and safety compliance. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with overtime as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment to support daily production.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments, such as clearing jams and fixing basic process issues.
• Log production and non-production activities in the FlexNet system and open and close production lots.
• Inspect products for defects, damage and compliance with quality standards and tolerances, and perform in-process quality checks.
• Complete production records, logbooks and documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices.
• Move materials while keeping inventory accurate and workflow efficient.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area following safety procedures.

Required profile

• Preferred: high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Able to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Able to lift, carry and move materials up to 50 pounds and stay on feet for long shifts.
