Operator C – Solids Control & Vacuum Unit Specialist

About the role

The Operator C is responsible for the set‑up, breakdown, troubleshooting and minor repair of solids control and vacuum unit equipment in the field. The role requires hands‑on technical work, accurate reporting and effective communication with customers and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform solids control rig‑ups, rig‑downs, troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Conduct solids control equipment analysis.
• Execute electrical rig‑ups, rig‑downs and minor electrical repairs.
• Follow proper sampling procedures and complete daily reports.
• Maintain professional rig etiquette and a positive attitude on site.
• Train fellow employees on equipment operation and safety.
• Travel outside the hiring region when required.

Required profile

• Experience in solids control or similar mechanical field.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Pass background check, pre‑placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance‑abuse testing.
• Willingness to perform general labor tasks as directed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and co‑workers.
