Operations Manager

About the role

Kickstart Accounting, Inc. is creating a new Operations Manager position to strengthen administrative, financial, and back‑end systems. This fully remote, hands‑on role works closely with the VP of Operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage administrative operations including recordkeeping, scheduling, vendor coordination, and office/system management.
• Support financial operations such as invoicing, expense tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting.
• Own project management for operational initiatives, tracking timelines, tasks, and cross‑team coordination.
• Build and maintain back‑end systems and tools that support daily business functions.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for administrative and back‑end processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations, administrative, or project management roles, preferably with financial operations exposure.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑disciplined, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with back‑end business systems and software platforms.
• Basic financial process knowledge (invoicing, expense tracking, budgeting, reporting).
