Front Desk Receptionist - Be Well Clinic

About the role

A clinic in Welasco is looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of its healthcare facility. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a positive impact on patients' experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors warmly, giving clear instructions so they feel comfortable and informed.
• Handle copay collections, appointment scheduling, paperwork preparation and reminder phone calls.
• Keep patient files up to date and accurate.
• Answer calls professionally, screen and take messages, and address callers' needs.
• Assist with computer input, typing, scheduling, form preparation, correspondence, data compilation and other projects supporting the office team.
• Maintain office equipment and supplies and keep the reception area clean and orderly.
• Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of receptionist experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills with callers, physicians and staff.
• Strong prioritization, multitasking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both within a team and independently in a high-stress environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• EMR systems, preferably Allscripts.
