About the role
The Operational Excellence Program Manager will drive project and program initiatives that improve processes, ensure compliance, and support the development of new technologies within Applied Materials' Boise operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support specific project and program objectives, including outcome determination, milestone planning, viability studies, and resource planning.
- Ensure projects meet product/process specifications, cost targets, resource utilization, and schedule requirements.
- Document all phases of project, program, and process development and disseminate information to functional areas.
- Maintain compliance with company policies on engineering notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
- Conduct studies of new technologies and support data collection for materials and financial resources.
Required profile
- Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in the discipline and broadens capabilities.
- Understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to accomplish work.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members despite having no formal supervisory responsibilities.
- Solves straightforward problems using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
