Oncology Nurse Practitioner & Sub-Investigator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join a fast‑growing early‑phase clinical research team in Los Angeles. The role combines direct patient care with sub‑investigator responsibilities on cutting‑edge immunotherapy trials.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to oncology trial participants under physician supervision, including exams, toxicity management, and adverse event assessment.
• Recruit and screen subjects, obtain informed consent, and support eligibility determinations.
• Serve as Sub‑Investigator, ensuring protocol compliance, safety reporting, and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, coordinators, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple early‑phase studies.
• Support long‑observation and overnight study patients as needed.
• Maintain audit‑ready records in line with GCP and sponsor requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement as the organization expands.

Required profile

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in California.
• Minimum 2 years oncology NP experience, preferably with prior RN experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Strong knowledge of oncology treatment side effects and supportive care.
• Excellent patient management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced research environment.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance.
