Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Clinic

About the role

ICAN is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team focused on improving motor skills, regulation, and independence for children with developmental challenges. Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, screen, and treat developmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, language‑based learning disorders, and motor speech issues.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming treatment plans using sensory‑based strategies and a strengths‑based approach.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBAs, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver a whole‑child approach.
• Document daily SOAP notes, progress notes, and re‑evaluations in a timely manner.
• Provide education and support to parents and families, ensuring cultural responsiveness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Washington State Occupational Therapy license.
• 1‑3 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis of developmental disorders.
• Design and delivery of sensory‑based, evidence‑based interventions.
