About the role

The Occupational Therapist will join Cleveland Clinic’s Lorain Family Health & Surgery Center, providing patient‑centered therapy to help individuals regain independence in daily activities. This part‑time position works on a day shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits affecting independent living skills.
  • Design, implement, and document individualized plans of care, adjusting as needed to maximize outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on deficits, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
  • Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in compliance with licensing laws and practice standards.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Required skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ohio Occupational Therapist licensure.
