Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Hand Therapy (PRN Float)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic team is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation across multiple locations. This flexible, as‑needed position supports patients in regaining independence and functional abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial deficits affecting daily living.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized plans of care, documenting progress and outcomes.
• Provide hand therapy, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Oversee certified OT assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an AOTA‑accredited OT program.
• Current Ohio OT licensure and BLS certification.
• Ability to work PRN schedule (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM) with flexible floating between Bath, Green, Stow, Tallmadge, White Pond, and Lakemore.
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and therapeutic tasks.

Required skills

• Hand therapy techniques, including splint fabrication.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy documentation and plan‑of‑care development.
