Occupational Therapist – Martin Health North

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Martin Health North facility in Stuart, Florida. You will work Monday through Friday, providing comprehensive OT services to patients of all ages with a variety of functional limitations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve self‑care, work, and leisure activities.
• Deliver OT interventions including P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, dressing changes, and job simulation.
• Utilize thermal and electrical modalities such as hot/cold packs, fluidotherapy, paraffin baths, ultrasound, phonophoresis, TENS, NMES, HVPGS, iontophoresis, and biofeedback.
• Fabricate custom splints, select adaptive devices, and train patients in their use.
• Document progress, communicate with physicians and families, and provide status reports for work‑related cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 8‑hour shifts, including at least 4 weekend days per 8‑week period and occasional floating to other regional hospitals.
