About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an Occupational Therapist for its Avon Hospital to provide inpatient acute care on a PRN basis. The role works weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with weekend coverage twice per month.

Key responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits affecting independent living skills.
Design, implement, and modify individualized plans of care, including appropriate modalities and frequency of treatment.
Document subjective and objective findings, monitor progress, and educate patients and families.
Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with licensing laws and practice standards.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred: acute care experience.

Required skills

Patient assessment and functional evaluation.
Care plan development and documentation.
