OB/GYN Physician

About the role

Advantia Health’s Susquehanna OB/GYN and Nurse Midwifery practice is seeking a compassionate OB/GYN physician to join its experienced team across two locations in Bel Air and Havre de Grace, Maryland. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health care and managing a high volume of deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centered gynecologic care, including preventive wellness, screenings, and treatment of women’s health conditions.
• Manage integrated obstetric services, overseeing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for approximately 40–50 deliveries per month.
• Participate in a balanced call rotation with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams on best practices, protocols, and patient service excellence.
• Utilize advanced technologies to improve clinical quality, efficiency, and patient experience.

Required profile

• Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong diagnostic and decision‑making abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused approach.
• Open to both newly trained and experienced physicians; active Maryland medical license preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
