Certified Nurse Midwife – Full-Time

About the role

Susqueanah OB/GYN and Nurse Midwifery is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive maternity care across ante‑partum, intrapartum and postpartum phases, serving patients with diverse medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver full‑scope nurse‑midwifery services including well‑woman care, family planning, and management of acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians.
• Perform histories, physical exams, order and interpret diagnostics such as ultrasounds and labs, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide emotional support, monitor maternal/fetal vital signs, administer medications during labor, and offer postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams, contribute to annual health‑care plans, and maintain active hospital delivery privileges.

Required profile

• Active RN license and Certified Nurse Midwife credential (American Midwifery Certification Board).
• DEA and NPI numbers, authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum one year of practicing midwife experience, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
• Flexibility to work both office and hospital settings, including on‑call hours.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
